Remembering Gary Grimes
As many of you may remember, today marks the 1 year anniversary of the passing of our good friend Gary Grimes.
Thank you Gary, for all that you have given us. We hope that you are proud of us for the work that you help start, and that we continue to do.
We love you and miss you.

Gary will always be remembered for the sweet guy he was and fabulous musician/singer/actor! Hopefully someday a cure for this dreaded brain tumor (that also took my husband on 10/9/07) and just took another good friend on 12/5/11 - will be discovered. Peace and love to Gary and his family. We first saw Gary and 1964 in Carnegie Hall in 2005. Their show there in January became an annual ritual for us. Hearing them do the standards was great. What blew me away was hearing them play "And Your Bird Can Sing" and "If I Needed Someone". That brought back wonderful memories of my youth that I had not felt in years. Thank you to 1964 for reawakening that love for this music and God bless Gary and his soul. You are missed...

Having seen the Beatles twice in Cinncinnati, and seeing the 1964 5 times, I can say the resemblance is remarkable. I just found out about gary while looking for my next encounter and am deeply saddened. Rest in Peace to a terrific entertainer.

Although this is a late post I have been thinking of Gary and his family and friends. I pray that they had this peaceful angel with them during the holidays. I miss him so much. Tina Treece
